Welcome…
Certified Intuitive Consultant and Certified Instructor of Intuitive Development Constantina Rhodes, Ph.D. is also an acclaimed scholar of Sanskrit and the spiritual traditions of India.

Constantina combines her academic and intuitive backgrounds to access subtle dimensions of divine consciousness and spiritual guidance. These serve as a foundation for her intuitive consultations, writing, creating CDs of guided meditations, and teaching in both academic and metaphysical settings.

Intuitive Consultations
Constantina maintains a flourishing practice as an intuitive consultant, working with clients both over the phone and in person in New York City. Constantina's intuitive consultations are deeply focused sessions to access guidance from an expansive, meditative perspective. By sensing the energy in a personal object (psychometry) and by meditating on the client's questions, she imparts accurate, clear and compassionate responses to questions about relationships, career, finances, and other issues. Constantina treats each session as a sacred encounter for the client's benefit and wellbeing. After setting the sacred space and accessing her guidance, she invites the client's own guides to come forth to contribute to the session. This may be in the form of spirit guides, beloved ancestors, angels, ascended masters, devas, or whatever is appropriate to the client's needs at the time. The process of addressing the heaviest problems can actually be quite delightful as the guides come in to offer assistance!

Sessions are conducted over the telephone or in person in Manhattan. To read more about the process or to book a session, click on Consultations above.

Books and CDs
The author of several books, including Invoking Lakshmi: The Goddess of Wealth in Song and Ceremony, Constantina has also scripted and recorded three CDs of guided meditations: Attracting Abundance: Meditations on Lakshmi; The Four Paths of Abundance: Meditations on Lakshmi, Vol. 2; and Experience Your Intuition: Guided Meditations for Intuitive Development.

Constantina contributed "Shri-Lakshmi: Majesty of the Hindu King" to the edited volume Goddesses Who Rule (ed. Elisabeth Benard and Beverly Moon), and her "Lakshmi, Hindu Goddess of Abundance" is the inaugural chapter of the three-volume work Goddesses in World Culture (ed. Patricia Monaghan). Her online article "Prayers for Invoking Lakshmi" appears on www.beliefnet.com. She is interviewed about classical yoga in the acclaimed documentary filmYogaWoman.

Constantina has translated large corpuses of Sanskrit devotional poetry that have never before been translated from their original language. Among these are Kashmir Shaiva hymns to Shiva and a wide-ranging collection of sacred invocations to the goddess Lakshmi. Introducing these texts to the English-speaking world surely has been a labor of love. As she works with the Sanskrit, Constantina enters into a very special relationship with the language itself. She strives to translate the literal meanings with integrity while lending voice to their spiritual essence, presenting these verses and their traditions as a gateway into the sacred realm of their origins.

These include workshops on the Goddess and on Hindu metaphysics, as well her specialty course, Intuition For Yogis. Lectures are followed by contemplative exercises and guided meditations. Unique each time, these meditative segments encourage students to experience the depths of their own luminous consciousness and to engage it in every aspect of their lives.
